DWS Solutions was founded on a solid foundation of expertise built over nearly two decades in the electrical and renewable energy industries. While the company is newly established, its founder, Shaun Dorman, brings a wealth of hands-on experience from a diverse range of projects across South Africa and beyond.
ELECTRICAL PROJECTS
Shaun has contributed to numerous commercial, industrial, and residential electrical installations, working with leading consultants and contractors. His experience includes projects such as:
- Delft Community Clinic – Electrical installation with Shafieq Ismail Consultants.
- Nomzamo Day Clinic – Collaboration with NWE Consultants.
- Caledon High School – Electrical work with Gibb Consultants.
- Busamed Hospital – Specialised work in the cardiovascular unit with DkC Consultants.
RENEWABLE ENERGY INSTALLATIONS
Since 2016, Shaun has focused on renewable energy, working on large-scale solar PV projects across Africa. Key projects include:
- Carnival Mall (4.2MWp) – In collaboration with EPC Romano.
- Brooklyn Mall – Installation with Juwi.
- Shoprite Locations (Kimberley & Postmasburg) – Partnered with Sustainable Power Solutions.
- AB InBev Tanzania – Large-scale solar project in East Africa.
